Thanks to the power that breathing has in our health and well-being, we can consider it as the guardian of our body, the nurse of our mind and the regulator of our emotions. It is with the breath that we set the rhythm of our life, and it is essential in the connection we have with ourselves and the world around us. Not surprisingly, the way you breathe changes and is key in all meditation techniques, physical exercise, childbirth, sleep phases, etc.
This small workshop aims to bring attention back to our breathing, and to recognize the power it has in our lives. At the body level, when you breathe consciously and in a specific way, it helps to relieve pain, cleanse toxins from the body, alkalinize the blood, raise our energy level, decrease hypertension, strengthen the immune system, while mental and emotional level, it helps us to reduce stress and anxiety, to gain clarity in our thoughts and regulate the way we feel. Our own breathing is capable of taking us on a deep journey of self-discovery, and is essential to consciously enter states of calm and peace.
Thus, in Inhale, Exhale, Connect, we will practice different techniques of active and conscious breathing, based on methods from traditional disciplines (such as yogic and Tao), and modern (such as the Wim Hof method), to reconnect with the power of our own breathing, vital function that we can control and modify voluntarily. That is, to reconnect with our own power.

Mauricio founded Amaru, Inner Growth Alliance, with the intention of bringing people closer to experiences and practices of self-discovery and healing, several of which he himself has experienced and uses in his own growth path. Mauricio is a certified breath and meditation coach.
He believes that Amaru, Inner Growth Alliance, can be a bridge between deep techniques and traditions of inner growth with people willing to open their hearts and minds, just as he tries to do it day by day, in an endless lesson of life.
In this workshop he will share different breathing techniques to allow you to rediscover the power of your own breath and recognize the its benefits on your emotional, physical and mental health.
